Four Generation Friday - Nicholas Broersma

10 years ago today my first child was born - Nicholas Broersma. It has been fun (for the most part) to watch him grow. In the picture you can see that he was still in his drooling phase. We went through multiple shirts daily back then, but he eventually grew out of that phase (for the most part).

Four Generation Friday - RIP Grandpa Wisner

Yesterday I received the sad news that my wife's grandpa (Lawrence Wisner) passed away. He was 88 years old. We were able to visit with him recently and even though he wasn't able to speak, he still seemed to enjoy the fact that we were there. While we were there we were able to take some four generation pictures with him and our kids. This is one with our youngest son Owen.

Happy Birthday Grandma Wisner

Today was my wife's grandma's birthday (Jennie Allene (Orrell) Wisner). She turned 89. She has a happy attitude, but unfortunately she does not remember us. Her memory is basically all gone. We were able to take some 4 generation pictures though today to help us remember her.

I want to keep this tradition going of taking a picture of sons with the grandfather clock in the background. This clock was built by Lawrence Broersma and Ron Broersma, and will be passed down through the family.
